Absolutely fantastic venue for FGC nights, everything was about as proper as you'd want it. That being said, this review is more about the food. The buffalo chicken wrap was spot on, and the pricing was very affordable, especially for the general Boston area, I'd drop in just to get lunch here.
Great little spot off the Green Line with nearby parking and an awesome gaming atmosphere. PC and Console competitive play with organized play on weekends and more. In addition they have a great food selection with various sandwiches and paninis along with many popular drink brands
I love this place. It’s the mecca. It’s the hub. The place where the FGC (fighting game community) gets to put their skills to the test. BostonTekken has grown so much and it’s due to the space BP offers us and the TravelingController crew.
I visited Boston all the way from Mississippi, with a dear friend of mine who is from Massachusetts, and we both are video game lovers. Fighting Game Friday was so entertaining and I enjoyed being here! The milkshakes, canned Bobas, and sandwiches were very good. I definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite from the Hot Fix Cafe! If you’re an avid video game lover from out of town, out of state, or from Boston, MA and surrounding areas, I definitely recommend going here. It’s a good spot for college students or for anyone ages 18 to 35. Unfortunately there is nothing like this in Mississippi unless it is hosted by a esports club at the Mississippi college or university campuses. Next time I am in Boston I’ll be sure to come back to Balance Patch!
This place is really fantastic. Delicious affordable food. Great gaming setups. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Sad that I'm only now learning of its existence.

Too fun, I have a pc at home and these stand up to it pretty well! Had a great time buffalo chicken wrap was good, felt like I was at home. I had one issue with the headphones being very sensitive but didn’t ruin my fun.
It’s the best gaming cafe in this locality without a shadow of a doubt. Being an avid gamer, not being able to play regularly is not fun but balance patch helps me connect with what gives me joy wherever I get time. They have a wide range of PC/Console games, so the demand is high. Consider booking in advance if you have a large group.
